This site will document my journey visiting the four corners of the United States. First will be Madawaska, ME, followed by Key West, FL, then onto San Ysidro, CA  and lastly Blaine, WA. Once I roll out of Madawaska I have 21 days to touch the other corners according to the rules set forth by the USA Four Corners Tour under the auspices of the Southern California Motorcycling Association.

The map above outlines the pre-tour portion of this trip in yellow, the actual USA Four Corners Tour in magenta and home from Blaine in red. Waldo indicates where I am as of the status at the top of the page.

I decided to travel this route as I need to spend a few days in Sun Prairie, WI for my mother-in-law’s birthday party (Happy Birthday Fran!). By starting the tour in Madawaska, ME I, hopefully, economize my 21 days.

May 30, 2011- Addendum.

Updated route to show that I will be heading to Blaine, WA via San Ysidro, CA from Key West, FL.I decided to skip the Midwest due to the inclement weather of late.

I also deleted the red dot bread crumbs as they were a pain to maintain and impossible to see anyway. I know you loved them but...

June 10, 2011- Addendum.

Changed my plans again. Will now travel home via the very scenic Columbia River Gorge and the not so very scenic Las Vegas gorge.

Why does one do this you ask?

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~ Mark Twain

and of course there is

 'Cause the man keeps getting frightened
When the boy's not born again
. ~ Harry Chapin - "Paint A Picture of Yourself "

To which I would add;

Make it so.” ~ Jean-Luc Picard
