Day 1 – July 28, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 6:55 AM MST Arrived Cortez, CO 4:55 PM MDT.
Uneventful ride out of the Phoenix heat to cooler climes north. Very windy here in Cortez. Slight possibility of rain overnight but tomorrow looks good. No pictures or videos today. The cameras should be busy tomorrow however.

Day 2 – July 29, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 8:55 AM MST Arrived Grand Junction 7:05 PM MDT.
Nice weather for most of the ride today. Rode into  some rain and hail in the afternoon. No big deal as it didn’t last too long. Very nice ride up the “Million Dollar Highway” (U.S. 550). No guardrails in a lot of places so that made it all the more interesting. I took a 4K 360-degree video of that ride and hopefully will put it up tomorrow night as it takes a while to render and then upload it to YouTube. After a missed turn, my GPS had a nervous breakdown, we rode the Unaweep Tabeguache Scenic Byway (CO 141) which is absolutely beautiful.

Day 3 – July 30, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 9:30 AM MDT Arrived Parker, CO 6:55 PM MDT.
Good weather today, a pleasant ride to Denver. Had dinner with the entire Gleason family (Lou, John, Kathy, Jeff, Sarah, Logan, and of course, Piper.

Day 4 – July 31, 2018.
The parking brake stayed off most of the day except for riding to and from John and Kathy’s.
Lou, Marie, and I spent the day at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. What a very special place. I’ll have to add “Attend a Concert at Red Rocks.” to my bucket list.

Day 5 – August 1, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 10:30 AM MDT Arrived Rotan, NM 7:15 PM MDT.
Stopped at The Garden Of The Gods Park for several hours. Took the trolley tour around the park. Beautiful
scenery and rock formations. Pictures will be updated shortly. Spent most of the afternoon riding in light to medium heavy rain accompanied by dropping temps. Very happy to get to the motel here in Rotan.

Day 6 – August 2, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 9:45 AM MDT Arrived Socorro, NM 5:15 PM MDT.
Just a riding day. We did go by the old house and then knocked on my neighbor’s door but, alas, they were out of town.
Should be home sometime late afternoon tomorrow. I have added all of Marie’s photos to the photo page. There may be a lot of “dupes” but oh well.

Day 7 – August 3, 2018.
Parking Brake Off at 8:00 AM MDT Arrived Phoenix, AZ 5:00 PM MST.
A non-eventful ride home today. Nice weather until we got to Payson.
The ride down from there was just plain hot.
