  1. Just can’t get enough of the road grit eh? Well you have done it before so this trip shouldn’t be a surprise. Can’t wait to see a “selfie” some where down the road and speaking of which- do you still have your “GoPro”? The wind gods have not smiled favorably on New Mexico! Most of last week our average wind velocity (that’s right – velocity) was at or above 35mph with gusts up to 55 in Albuquerque and 65 around Clines Corners and Las Vegas, New Mexico.
BTW: I’ll be gone from mid-June through the first of August.
    Be safe my friend.

    So much for the chit-chat.

  2. You’re my retirement hero!! Have a great ride, looking forward to the updates.

  3. Jack,
I know that four letter word “work” interferes with my life at times, however we all can’t be as fortunate as you and have a job like yours. lol
I was wondering why you were at “0” mph for such a longtime. Sorry to hear you had a short day. With that massive hunk of motorcycle under you, you should make up ground. lol
    Continued safe riding friend.

  4. Suzuki Jack,

Will be “following along”, on another JK wanderlust adventure.
    Love the updates.
    See you in October.

    Farewell my friend, be safe.

  5. I’m sorry to hear you’re terminating the trip, however I can completely understand as “I’ve been there, and done it”, and its a tuff decision, however looking back at mine, was a wise decision. I’m sure you had the same thought process as mine.
Anyway, you got one of those Gold Medals, and I don’t.
Have a safe trip to WA, and back south to the desert. Somehow, we’ll have to find a sliver of time in our schedules to get together again.

  6. Question – Why does it always have to be a crosswind?

Because you’re not in the Jet Stream silly………….

    Ride safe Scooter Man. LOL
