Very nice ryde up here. Beautiful day all the way. Only one problem today and that was my Garmin GPS (590) totally died. I have resorted to using Google Maps on my cell phone.

Day 3 – June 24, 2019.
Parking Brake Off at 7:30 AM MDT Arrived Cody, WY, 3:30 PM MDT.
Beartooth Pass is closed at the WY state line due to an “incident”.
That being the case we will skip going to Red Lodge, MT today and try to run the pass tomorrow morning.

Day 4 – June 25, 2019.
Parking Brake Off at 7:30 AM MDT Arrived Rexburg, ID 9:30 PM MDT.
We rode Beartooth Pass to the WY state line. At the point, the road was closed due to high winds and an icy road. Retraced our path back towards Cody and then turn off onto Chiek Joseph Scenic Byway to Cooke City and onto Yellowstone National Park via the North Entrance and out the West Gate. Encountered an 8-mile backup when leaving the park due to a herd of sleeping buffalo 500 yards off the road and a lot of stupid tourists trying to get a look at them. One enduring moment was when we spotted a baby buffalo cavorting all over the field by jumping up and down. I think it had just discovered his/her legs and was showing off to mom.

Long day on the Interstate.

Pleasant ryde home. Got off the super-slab and took US 89 south.
Wonderful views.
